Play SkiFree online for free

The older ones among you may remember SkiFree, a sports game released in 1991 in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack. And here it is, brought back to life in this new version, playable directly in your browser. SkiFree is a casual single-player sports simulator wherein the player uses the keyboard or the mouse to control a skier across a white background representing snow on a mountainside. The object of the game is to ski down an endless slope and avoid the obstacles (trees, stumps, snowboarders, etc.) When the player passes the 2,000-meter mark, the Abominable Snowman appears and starts to chase the player, eating him when it catches him! The 2D graphics give the game cool a retro feeling, but the gameplay is still addictive, and you can find yourself playing for hours to try and beat your current ski record!

SkiFree is available on GameBig as a browser game. You can launch it when you are ready (use the green Play button below so the game only loads after you choose to play, which keeps the first view of this page lighter for visitors on slower connections).
